Katy Perry and the accidental photographer for Manila Concert Scene…

I went to the media tent knowing that I will be shooting for SM Mall of Asia. To my surprise, I wasn’t on the list as a MOA photographer (oh no, not again!)

I found out that I will be shooting for Manila Concert Scene. I don’t know how that happened, but being one of the only seven approved photographers, I’m not complaining.  I’m just glad I got in. (My apologies to my good friend Niña Sandejas, who tagged along with me and is a much bigger fan of Katy’s).

Waiting was the hard part. We were there at 7pm. I got in at 8:30pm. The concert started at 10pm.

Just when the crowd and I was starting to get really bored… the show finally started!

The photo pit was around 50 meters away. Thank goodness for long lenses.

As always, the traditional and required “top shot”.
